Bulgaristan Enerji Devi Bulgargaz’ın BOTAŞ’a Olan Borcu Gündemde
Bulgaristan’ın önde gelen enerji şirketi Bulgargaz, son günlerde BOTAŞ’a olan borcuyla dikkatleri üzerine çekiyor. Şirketin, 88 milyar TL’lik borcunu ödeyememesi nedeniyle iflas tehlikesiyle karşı karşıya kaldığı belirtiliyor.
According to Turkey Gazetesi, Bulgarian Energy Minister Jeço Stankov stated that the debt amount is 220 million leva (4 billion TL), and the signed “take it or leave it” contract has pushed Bulgaria into a major financial crisis, accelerating the company’s bankruptcy process.
Bulgarian Minister Stankov also mentioned that unless the entire amount exceeding 4 billion leva (88 billion Turkish liras) is paid, there is no termination clause in the contract.
MINISTERS BLAME EACH OTHER
Meanwhile, former Energy Minister Alexander Nikolov made the harshest statement regarding the issue.
“The signing of a contract that has caused such a huge loss like this historical absurdity is rarely seen,” said Nikolov, emphasizing that the financial reports for the year 2023 of Bulgargaz clearly show whether this contract has been utilized.
According to Nikolov, the company, which has been rapidly losing market share since September 2022, is facing significant losses and is practically bankrupt.
